Lino Lakes woman injured in two-car crash

WABASHA — Two cars collided at the intersection of two highways near Wabasha on Sunday.

Sai Lee, 34, of Lino Lakes, was northbound on U.S. Highway 61 near Wabasha when a 2014 Ford Escape driven by Catherine P Kronewetter, 70, of Arbor Vitae, Wis., struck the 2003 Toyota Corolla he was driving. Kronewetter had been westbound on Minnesota Highway 60 when the collision occurred, according to a Minnesota State Patrol report.

Neither Lee nor his passenger, Moua Xiong, 22, of Lino Lakes, were injured in the crash. Kronewetter’s passenger, Charles Frederick Bohmert, 75, also of Arbor Vitae, also did not require transportation for medical care, the report states.

Kronewetter was transported to Saint Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Wabasha with non-life threatening injuries. No update on her condition was available this morning.

The Wabasha County Sheriff’s Office, Wabasha Fire Department, Wabasha Ambulance and Wabasha Police also responded to the scene.
