FBI, police seek information on Shaler bank robber
The FBI and Shaler police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed a First Commonwealth Bank in Shaler on Wednesday.
The bank, at 1416 Mt. Royal Blvd., was robbed around 9:50 a.m., according to the FBI.
“The robber demanded money from the teller and left the bank on foot,” the FBI said in a news release. “No one was injured.”
A reward is being offered for any information.
The robber is described as a black man in his 30s or 40s and about 5 feet 11 inches tall. He was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans with netting over his face.
