Mary Ann Paczosa, 72, formerly of Duncan, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2019, at her home in Columbus.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, 2019, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Duncan, Nebraska. Visitation will be from 5 -7 p.m. Thursday, with a 7 p.m. vigil service at St. Stanislaus Church. Visitation will continue on Friday from noon - 1 p.m., also at the church. Burial will be in the St. Stanislaus Cemetery.

Mary Ann B. Paczosa was born Nov. 28, 1946, in Cornlea, Nebraska, to Rudolph and Louise (Goedeken) Herout. She married Benedict Paczosa Sr. on May 30, 1964, at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Columbus. The couple lived in Duncan, where Mary Ann worked for Paige Electric in Columbus. She enjoyed embroidery, doing puzzles and spending time with family. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Church and St. Ann’s.

Mary Ann is survived by sons, Benedict, Jr. (Tammy) Paczosa of Las Vegas, Nevada, Rick (Lisa) Paczosa of Bellwood, Nebraska, Todd Paczosa of Duncan, Nebraska and Corey (Michelle) Paczosa of Kansas City, Missouri; grandchildren, Dustin, Dylan (Makala), Halle, Mackenzie, Gabrielle, Duncan, Brooke, Chase, Morgan, Cassandra, Tobias and Shawn Paczosa; great-grandchildren, Kinleigh and Oliver Paczosa; brother, Roger (Marlene) Herout of Columbus, Nebraska; sisters-in-law, Rose (Bud) Kuta, of Columbus, Elaine Paczosa of Silver Creek, Nebraska and Barb Paczosa of Colorado Springs, Colorado.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rudolph and Louise Herout; husband, Benedict Paczosa Sr.; brothers: Jim and Ken Herout; infant brother, Rudolph Joseph Herout Jr.; sisters, Darlene Johnson and Joyce Cordsen; infant sister, Barbara Jean Herout; brothers-in-law, Valerian, Leonard, Albin, Stanley, Jr., Anthony, Dennis and Ted; infant brother-in-law, Stanley Paczosa; and sister-in-law, Lillian Dush
