The award-winning Stamford artist’s exhibit features her latest works, including new paintings on aluminum that reflect her ongoing artistic journey in which she explores new ideas and materials, the association said in a news release.

Tehrani is described as a creative thinker who is constantly looking at the world in different ways. Her paintings are mysterious, inviting the viewer to engage their own imaginations to explore the images, the association said.
“I love working on aluminum, because it enables the paint to be moved around in ways not possible on more traditional surfaces,” she’s quoted as saying. “Magic is created when intended outcomes develop into unplanned random occurrences.”
Loft Artists Association studios and galleries, 575 Pacific St., Stamford. Gallery hours: Saturdays and Sundays 1-4:30 p.m. Handicapped access is available by appointment. 203-247-2027.
