South Point man accused of possessing large amount of LSD

IRONTON — The following information was compiled from Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office reports:

DRUG ARREST: Following a traffic stop last week, a sheriff’s deputy arrested Anthony Tyler Nicely, 22, of South Point, on a charge of possession of 90 doses of LSD. Nicely was transported to the Lawrence County Jail.

DRUG ARRESTS: Following a traffic stop last week, a sheriff’s deputy arrested Richard Thomas Rife, of Township Road 218, Ironton, and Amanda R. Boggs, 32, of Russell, Kentucky, on charges of possession of drugs and transported them to jail.

BREAKING AND ENTERING: A 59-year-old South Point area man reported last month that someone stole two chainsaws valued at $1,900 from his garage.

THEFT: A representative of AEP reported last week that someone stole two coils of wire containing copper. The items were valued at $30,000. A second theft was reported last week. That wire was valued at $2,000.

IDENTITY THEFT: A sheriff’s deputy arrested Daniteleen P. Hodge, 47, of County Road 1, Chesapeake, on a charge of identity theft and an outstanding warrant under her name last week and transported her to jail.

ENDANGERING CHILDREN: A Kitts Hill area resident reported last month that a 3-year-old girl was crawling up the steps of her residence. The child belonged to a neighbor and Children’s Services was notified.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: A 37-year-old Proctorville area woman reported last week that her husband had been drinking and punched her in the face and threw a watch at her face, leaving a laceration. The man left before authorities arrived.
