Suspects wanted in fatal Village Place shooting

An altercation at a convenience store spilled over into the streets, leaving one man dead and law enforcement officials seeking suspects wanted for questioning.

Precinct 5 Constable Ted Heap’s Office reports that the fatal shooting occurred Monday, April 8, in the 11600 block of Village Place in west Houston.

According to the Constable’s Office, the “victim and a friend were at a nearby convenience store when he got into an altercation with another male. The victim left the store and was shot around midnight last night while sitting in his car on Village Place Drive.”

The Houston Police Department released surveillance photos from the convenience store, showing two black males “who are wanted for questioning in connection with the shooting.”
