Weather: Snow And Mixed Precipitation Continues Tonight Through Friday Morning

Snow is expected to change over to sleet and freezing rain later tonight.

A total accumulation of 4 to 6 inches--more outside of the valley cities-- is expected by Friday morning. Plan on slippery road conditions that could impact the evening and Friday morning commutes.

Tonight Freezing rain and sleet before 2am, then sleet between 2am and 4am, then snow after 4am. Low around 30. East wind around 9 mph becoming north after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New ice accumulation of less than a 0.1 of an inch possible. New snow and sleet accumulation of around 2 inches.

Friday Rain and snow showers likely before 11am, then a slight chance of rain showers between 11am and noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 41. North wind 7 to 10 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
