NEW YORK (AP) _ Julie Andrews is returning to the stage after pneumonia forced her to miss almost a week of ``Victor/Victoria,'' the Daily News reported today.

Andrews, 61, has missed all but one performance of the Broadway musical since last Tuesday, but was to return tonight, representatives of the show told the paper.

The ``Sound of Music'' and ``Mary Poppins'' star missed 10 performances with the flu in January and missed 16 days after emergency gall bladder surgery in March.

Andrews' starring role in ``Victor/Victoria'' requires her to sing, dance and make a number of quick costume changes.

She already had planned to take a monthlong rest from the show in January, with Liza Minelli taking her role during that time. During Andrews' current absence, understudy Anne Runolfsson performed in her place.
