  • U.S. gaming revenue grew 2.71%, to total $106.4 Billion
  • The state of North Carolina experienced the most gaming revenue growth, followed by South Carolina, Massachusetts, Illinois and Maryland, respectively.

Across the U.S. and Canada:

  • Casino and card room gaming accounted for 43.32% of total North American gaming revenue, lotteries for 25.14%, tribal gaming for 26.79%, race and sports wagering for 2.25%, charitable gaming for 2.25% and online gaming for 0.24%.
  • Besides online gaming, which experienced tremendous growth of 39.41% due to its recent regulation, tribal gaming revenue in North America increased by 3.82%, lotteries by 3.39%, casino/card room gaming by 1.0% and charitable gaming by 1.92%. Gaming revenue from race/sports wagering declined by 4.50%.
