My name is Chad Sinanian and I’m a gung-ho, dedicated and enthusiastic advocate for persons with disabilities, always campaigning and fighting for our rights, and keeping everyone constantly aware that we are always working to improve our lives.
I’m writing this letter to make everyone aware of the Danbury Commission on Disabilities, whose members are appointed by the mayor and the City Council. We meet every second Tuesday, starting in September and through June, starting at 6:30 p.m. at Danbury City Hall in a first-floor conference room.
Our first meeting this year is Tuesday, Sept. 11, and I’d like the public, persons with disabilities, and advocates to be aware that the commission meetings are open to the public and everyone is welcome.
If anyone has an issue that pertains to persons with disabilities or a grievance reason by someone who believes their rights as an individual with a disability are being violated in any way, if someone has an ADA issue, then the commission encourages those people to attend any of the meetings.
The commission will do everything in their power to help those individuals. We are people with disabilities, some of us have sons and daughters with disabilities, so it goes without saying that we are compassionate, caring people.
Please come to our meetings and listen and learn about the commission, what we’re about and we’ll do everything we can to help you.
