Struggle over gun ends fatally in Sheboygan
SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (AP) — Sheboygan police say a struggle over a gun between two family members ended when one of them was shot in the leg and died.
Authorities say the shooting happened Easter Sunday at a home on the northwest side of Sheboygan. Officials say a 47-year-old man had gone to the home armed with a handgun, threatened a 46-year-old male family member and the two struggled. Police say the gun discharged and the older man was shot in the leg. He was taken to St. Nicholas Hospital where he died.
Other family members at the home were not injured.
An autopsy is scheduled Monday. The investigation continues.
