Woman charged in fatal stabbing of husband in Missouri
ST. CHARLES, Mo. (AP) — A woman has been charged with fatally stabbing her husband in suburban St. Louis.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that 36-year-old Brenna Davis is jailed in St. Charles County on $500,000 cash-only bail. She was charged Wednesday with second-degree murder and armed criminal action in the death of 40-year-old Orville Davis. No attorney is listed for her in online court records.
Police in St. Charles say the couple was home with their five children early Wednesday when they got into an argument. Brenna Davis is accused of arming herself with a knife and stabbing her husband repeatedly in the chest and face. Neither she nor her children were injured.
Police say the couple was having marital problems. But police hadn’t responded to their home in the past for domestic violence.
