Officials: Meth lab discovered alongside Connecticut River
HINSDALE, N.H. (AP) — Police in New Hampshire say they discovered a meth lab along the Connecticut River in Hinsdale.
Local police and state Fish and Game officers responded to a report of a possible meth lab along the river Monday. WMUR-TV reports officials located and secured the lab later that day.
The investigation was conducted in coordination with the New Hampshire State Police Explosives Disposal Unit and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.
The area was treated as a hazardous material site and a hazmat team was dispatched from the Seacoast area to clean the site and properly dispose of the materials.
