Portland 72, Nashville 67

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) _ Natalie Williams scored 15 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to help the Portland Power beat the Nashville Noise 72-67 Wednesday night.

Portland (8-4) outscored Nashville 11-4 in the final 4:18 of the game. The Noise (3-10) were able to stay close, cutting the lead to 70-67 on a layup by Joy Holmes with a minute left to play.

Portland’s Elaine Powell made a layup at the end for the final margin.

Katy Steding finished with 14 points for the Power, and Powell added 13.

Tracy Henderson led the Noise with 18 points, Michelle Marciniak added 15, and Vicki Hall finished with 10.
