Two people shot and killed on Interstate 90 off ramp, Cleveland police say

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Two people were shot and killed on Interstate 90 on Saturday evening, police said. 

Both people were shot about 8 p.m. in the head and body at the I-90 Westbound and West 117th Street off ramp exit, Cleveland police said.

Authorities have not identified the two people who were killed. 

Police are searching for a gray vehicle, but did provide any additional information about the vehicle. 

No arrests have been made in the shooting.

Investigators put a white sheet over a Chevrolet Cobalt. Some of the car windows were shattered by the gunfire and threw glass all over the highway. 

Several officers are at the scene were numbering bullet casings with yellow markers. At least 13 were counted by a cleveland.com reporter.

Officers blocked off the exit of the West 117th Street with yellow caution tape and patrol vehicles.
