Blakely Man Charged With Stragulation, Assault
BLAKELY — A 38-year-old Blakely man tried to strangle his girlfriend early Saturday morning during a domestic dispute, borough police charged.
William Mussari, 618 W. Lackawanna Ave., is charged with strangulation, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and harassment, Patrolman Anthony Mercado wrote in a criminal complaint.
Rashel Shihinski told Mercado that her boyfriend, Mussari, tried to take her phone from her because a male friend text messaged her and the argument turned physical.
She had bruising on her neck, police said.
Mussari is free on $10,000 unsecured bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled Oct. 9.
