Re-label Studies As Hyperloop

March 26, 2019

Editor: Perhaps state Rep. Aaron Kaufer can be persuaded to re-label all the studies that were done on the Scranton-to-New York passenger rail as the hyperloop (March 18). The end result will be the same and the study cost of $2 million noted in your article will be saved. The inevitable future studies won’t be necessary and will yield further economic savings. I seriously doubt that PennDOT or the Turnpike Commission is capable of managing a project of this scale when the condition of our interstate highways and continual turnpike toll increases are considered.
