Norfolk police officers arrested last Friday a Norfolk woman who had an arrest warrant on her from Knox County.
Capt. Mike Bauer said a Norfolk officer was on patrol last Friday at about 9 p.m. when he checked the license plate of a vehicle he encountered and learned of the active arrest warrant.
That led to the arrest of Coralee Jane Bedolla, 30, of Norfolk. The Knox County warrant was for no insurance and improper parking.
In a subsequent search of the vehicle, officers recovered a glass pipe with burnt residue from her purse. The pipe tested positive for methamphetamine, and she was subsequently also arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
She was housed in the Norfolk City Jail and later transferred to the Madison County Jail.
