Lions Club hosting health fair
SCOTTSBLUFF — The Scottsbluff/Gering Lions Club is hosting a health fair at the Scottsbluff library Wednesday.
The Healthy Minds, Healthy Bodies Fair will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
During the health fair, the Scottsbluff-Gering Lions Club will provide free vision, glaucoma and hearing screenings. Life Change Connection will also be on hand, providing information on diabetes. The organization, founded by Neal Blomenkamp, started in 2012 and is a resource for those with diabetes. UNMC nursing students will be on site doing blood sugar and blood pressure screenings.
The free event is open to the public.
