Australia confirms dates, venues for France tests
SYDNEY (AP) — The Australian Rugby Union has confirmed the Wallabies will play France in test matches at Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney in June next year.
Australia and France have met each other 42 times in test matches with Australia winning 23, France 17 and with two matches drawn. France beat Australia 22-6 when the teams last met in a test match in Australia.
The first tour to Australia by France since 2009 will feature test matches at Brisbane’s Lang Park on June 7, Melbourne’s Docklands Stadium on June 14 and Sydney Football Stadium on June 21.
