FATAL CRASH-CHARGE _ A man has been given 25 years in prison for being intoxicated when his pickup truck struck a minivan in Waterloo, killing a baby inside.

DOCTOR-DRUG SENTENCE _ A doctor who worked in Aberdeen has been sentenced to 1 ½ years in prison and fined $20,000 for illegally distributing a prescription painkiller.

FATHER KILLED _ An Iowa City man accused of fatally beating his father is scheduled to enter a plea Tuesday and be sentenced.

CHURCH THEFTS _ A bookkeeper is accused of stealing more than $200,000 from at least three Open Bible Churches in the Des Moines area.
