RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil (AP) _ Taffarel, the goalkeeper who backstopped Brazil's 1994 World Cup victory, is back on the national team after a nearly two year absence.

Coach Mario Zagallo called up 13 players Tuesday from various Brazil-based teams for an exhibition game against Chile in Brasilia on April 2. Nine players from foreign teams were called up earlier.

Taffarel allowed only three goals during the 1994 World Cup, in which Brazil won an unprecedented fourth title.

Star striker Romario, currently with Flamengo, also is back with the team.
