Catalytic converter thefts reported
The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office is investigating multiple reports of stolen catalytic converters.
The sheriff’s office received a report from Pomp’s Tires that a catalytic converter was taken from a Ford Econoline motor home that was on the property. The reported theft took place sometime between Thursday and Monday, Capt. Scott Behrns said.
It will likely cost $1,150 to repair and replace it, Behrns said.
The sheriff’s office also took a report from Frito-Lay that two trucks had their catalytic converters taken, Behrns said.
