November 6, 2018

Kilwins Chocolates, Inc., is making its first foray into the Houston area with a shop planned to open in Sugar Land Town Square.

Planned Community Developers, Ltd., made the announcement on Tuesday, Nov. 6. The grand opening date has not yet been announced.

“We are delighted Kilwins has chosen Sugar Land Town Square as its first Houston-based store,” said Jennifer Fogle, director of retail leasing and sales for PCD. “With an established reputation for producing high-quality products, I’m sure our guests will be thrilled to welcome the new store that will be sure to satisfy their sweet tooth.”

Kilwins, founded in 1947, offers made-in-store fudge and caramel apples, and hand-crafted chocolates and ice cream. Kilwins currently has 134 stores, including Texas stores in Plano and San Antonio, with another 17 under construction.

The new Sugar Land store will be located at 16029 City Walk, occupying 1,464 square feet. According to PCD, the Sugar Land site will be custom-designed. Fogle represented PCD in this transaction. Bill Farris of Paradigm Commercial Real Estate represented Kilwins.
