—MISSING HIKER-ROCKY MOUNTAIN — A search is underway in Rocky Mountain National Park in northern Colorado for a 38-year-old man who failed to return from a day hike nearly a week ago. The Daily Camera reports that Brian J. Perri, of Fort Collins, was reported missing Thursday.
— OVELAND DROWNING — Authorities say a Greeley teenager who was pulled out of a northern Colorado lake died from drowning.
SEATTLE — Having won nine of 10, the Seattle Mariners step into interleague play hosting the Colorado Rockies for a three-game series beginning Friday night. The Rockies have won three straight to move a game over .500. UPCOMING: Game at 7:10 p.m. PT. 700 words.
