Vinson's Brayden Pressley (43) gets ready to snap the ball against the D-C Express during a Tri-State Youth Football "E" team game Saturday at Vinson Middle School.

HUNTINGTON — Two of Huntington’s three Tri-State Youth Football League teams squared off Saturday when Douglass-Cammack played at Vinson.

Players from both squads likely will face one another for many years to come as D-C feeds into Huntington High School and Vinson into Spring Valley High.

The teams battled in sunny, pleasant weather, even though the field remained wet from nearly a week of heavy rain that left players muddy from facemasks to cleats.
