BISMARCK, N.D. — A federal judge says the developer of the Dakota Access oil pipeline can’t sue the entire Earth First environmental movement. U.S. District Judge Billy Roy Wilson’s decision came less than two weeks after he dismissed BankTrack from the $1 billion racketeering lawsuit filed by Texas-based Energy Transfer Partners, leaving Greenpeace as the lone defendant. BISMARCK, N.D. — More than 300 Basin Electric Power Cooperative employees are taking buyouts as the North Dakota-based utility tries to cut costs amid a plummeting financial outlook. Basin’s latest financial forecast predicts a decade of losses at subsidiary Dakota Gasification Co., which operates the Great Plains Synfuels Plant near Beulah. The majority of co-op employees taking buyouts are from North Dakota. Some are from South Dakota and Wyoming. SENT: 130 words. UPCOMING: 250 words.
