Travel tip: Plan for lost luggage with a double-duty outfit
Scan the crowd in an airport these days and it’s apparent that most people choose comfort over couture when they dress to fly.
We all know it’s a good idea to dress in layers, wear clothes with a little bit of stretch and shoes that slip on, and to leave the “heavy metal,” like big belt buckles and oversized jewelry, at home.
Another thing to consider is traveling in an outfit that you wouldn’t mind wearing for two days (luggage has been known to get lost). At the very least, make sure to have extra underwear and socks in your carry-on bag.
