LUSON, Italy (AP) _ Italians dominated a World Cup luge meet Sunday, with Sonja Steinacher winning the women's singles and Armin and David Mair capturing the men's doubles.

Steinacher, racing on a natural track, was followed by Ekaterina Lavrentjeva of Russia and Sandra Mariner of Austria.

The Mairs won in 2 minutes, 10.35 seconds. The Russian team of Denis Alimov and Roman Molvistov was second in 2:11.20.

The Austrian duo of Reinhard Beer and Herbert Kogl finished fifth but still led the World Cup standings. They have 240 points after three of the six stages. The Mairs share second at 230 with Austrians Peter Lechner and Peter Braunegger.

Steinacher had a combined time of 2:03.78 and moved to the top of the standings with 270 points. Mariner is second overall with 255.
