City of Norfolk declares snow emergency
NORFOLK - For public safety and more efficient snow removal, the City of Norfolk has declared a Snow Emergency effective 6 a.m. Friday until further notice.
Parking is allowed on only the even side of residential streets. No parking is allowed at all on cul-de-sacs and emergency snow routes.
Forecasted snowfall is expected to reach 2 to 5 inches and ice accumulations will create a glaze. Wind gusts of 20 to 30 mph will lead to blowing snow and reduced visibility.
