Germany’s Maximilian Arndt wins 4-man bobsled world title
WINTERBERG, Germany (AP) — Maximilian Arndt retained his four-man bobsled World Championship title ahead of German countryman Nico Walther on Sunday.
Halfway leader Oskars Melbardis of Latvia made a mistake in the final fourth run and had to settle for the bronze.
Arndt put together a winning aggregate of 3 minutes, 34.89 seconds for the four heats.
Walther was only .02 seconds behind, while Melbardis lagged .12 back.
