OWI

The Ludington Police Department made two arrests Friday for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated:

a 40-year old Baldwin male at 3:41 p.m. in the 900 block of Ludington Avenue;a 27-year-old Ludington female at 10:11 p.m. in the 900 block of East Tinkham Avenue.

The Michigan State Police Hart Post made two arrests during the weekend for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated:

a 76-year-old Pentwater female at 12:10 a.m Friday at Railroad Avenue and Deer Road in Weare Township in Oceana County;a 25-year old Gloucester, Virginia male at 5:10 p.m. Saturday at U.S 10 and Reek Road in Custer Township.

Domestic assault

The Michigan State Police Hart Post arrested 51-year old Free Soil male for domestic assault at 9:16 p.m. Saturday in the 3000 block of Townline Road in Free Soil Township.

Warrant arrests

The Ludington Police Department arrested a 29-year-old Ludington female for a bench warrant out of Oceana County at 5:11 p.m. Friday in the 900 block of Ludington Avenue.

The Ludington Police Department arrested a 38-year-old Ludington female for an outstanding warrant at 6:43 p.m. Saturday in the 500 block of East Danaher Street.

The Mason County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 22-year-old Ludington male for an outstanding warrant at 4:21 p.m. Sunday at U.S. 10 and Pere Marquette Highway in Pere Marquette Township.

The Mason County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 25-year old Ludington male for five outstanding failure to appear in court warrants and possession of methamphetamine at 10:25 p.m. Monday at U.S. 10 and Pere Marquette Highway in Pere Marquette Township.

Fugitive arrest

The Michigan State Police Hart Post arrested a 46-year-old Scottville female for being a fugitive at 2:39 p.m. Saturday in the 6000 block of Federal Forest Trail in Branch Township.

Retail Fraud

The Mason County Sheriff’s Office reported multiple retail frauds arrests at Walmart during the weekend:

a 54-year-old Custer female at 4:58 p.m. Friday;a 29-year-old Fountain female at 3:10 p.m. Saturday;a 53-year-old Ludington female at 5:57 p.m. Sunday;a 35-year-old Green Bay, Wis. female at 4:26 Monday.

Larceny

The Michigan State Police Hart Post responded to a report of larceny from an a vehicle at 8:15 p.m. Monday in the 5000 block of Deer Road in Levitt Township.

Destruction of property

The Michigan State Police Hart Post responded to a report of malarious destruction of property at 8:57 p.m. Monday in the 2000 block of Winston Road in Grant Township in Oceana County.

The Ludington Police Department responded to a report of malicious destruction of property at 10:14 p.m. Sunday in the 300 block of William Street.

Breaking and entering

The Michigan State Police Hart Post responded to a report of breaking and entering at 11:08 a.m. Sunday at U.S. 10. The incident is currently under investigation.

The Ludington Police Department responded to a report of breaking and entering at 11:55 p.m. Sunday in the 1000 block of Pineway Street.

Alarm activation

The Mason County Sheriff’s Office reported multiple alarm activations during the weekend:

at 8:22 a.m. Saturday in the 2000 block of U.S. 10 in Custer Township;at 10:24 a.m. Sunday in Summit Township.

Minor in possession

The Michigan State Police Hart Post arrested a 17-year-old Ludington male for minor in possession of tobacco at 10:01 a.m. Saturday at Hanson and Stiles roads in Amber Township.

Urinating in public

The Ludington Police Department cited a 36-year-old Wyoming male for urinating in public at 1:42 a.m. Sunday in the 300 block of Ludington Avenue.

Suspended license

The Michigan State Police Hart Post arrested 54-year-old Grand Rapids male for operating a vehicle with a suspended license at 11:45 a.m. Friday at Shelby Road and U.S. 31 in Shelby Township.

The Michigan State Police Hart Post arrested a 37-year-old South Boardman male for operating a vehicle with a suspended license at 11:15 a.m. Sunday at U.S. 31 and Monore Road in Pentwater.

Restricted operator’s license

The Mason County Sheriff’s Office cited a 25-year-old Ludington male for a violation of a restricted operator’s license at 8:09 p.m. Friday at Dewey and Vicotory Corners roads in Victory Township.

No license, insurance

The Mason County Sheriff’s Office cited a 28-year-old Hart male for operating a motor vehicle without a valid license and insurance at 2:26 a.m. Saturday at U.S. 31 freeway and Pere Marquette Highway in Pere Marquette Township.

No insurance

The Mason County Sheriff’s Office cited a 36-year-old Scottville male for having no insurance on a vehicle at 8:05 p.m. Friday at Stiles and Hansen roads in Amber Township.

Gas drive-off

The Mason County Sheriff’s Office reported two gas drive-offs during the weekend:

at 1:26 p.m. Saturday in the 400 block of East U.S. 10 at Scottville EZ Market in Custer Township. The amount was $60.99.at 6:28 p.m. Monday in the 5400 block of west U.S. 10 in Pere Marquette Township. The amount was $63.37.

Vehicle accidents

The Michigan State Police Hart Post responded to a two-vehicle property damage accident at 11:47 a.m. Saturday at Pere Marquette Highway and U.S. 10 in Pere Marquette Township.

The Mason County Sheriff’s Office reported multiple vehicle accidents during the weekend:

a one-vehicle accident at 5:45 a.m. Saturday at Morton and Modjeski roads in Grant Township in Mason County;a two-vehicle accident at 10:20 a.m. Sunday at Lakeshore Drive and Golfwood Drive in Hamlin Township.

Car-deer

The Mason County Sheriff’s Office responded to multiple car-deer crashes during the weekend:

at 7:40 a.m Friday at U.S. 31 south of U.S.10 in Amber Township. Two vehicles struck the same deer;at 6:25 p.m. Friday at U.S. 10 east of Custer Road in Custer Township;at 9:51 p.m. Sunday at Wahalla Drive and Wilson Road in Branch Township;at 5:15 a.m. Monday at U.S. 10 west of Stiles Road in Amber Township;at 6:57 a.m. Monday at Fountain Road west of Larson Road in Sheridan Township.

The Michigan State Police Hart Post responded to two car-deer crashes during the weekend:

at 11 p.m. at U.S. 31 and Koenig Road in Grant Township;at 6 p.m. Sunday at U.S. 31 and Mile Marker 158 in Weare Township.

Car-raccoon

The Michigan State Police Hart Post responded to a car-raccoon crash at 7:05 p.m. Monday at Maple Island Road and McKinley Road in Greenwood Township.
