Free Thanksgiving meals offered around town for those in need

The Greater Cleveland Food Bank has released its 2018 list of places that will be offering free Thanksgiving meals for those in need on Thursday and other days.

Ashland County:

Monday-Wednesday: Ashland Salvation Army Pantry, 527 East Liberty St., Ashland. Serving lunch from 11 a.m. to noon. 419-282-4223.

Cuyahoga County:

Saturday: Care on the Square, 1744 Payne Ave., Cleveland. Serving lunch at noon. Wednesday and Saturday: CACC 1 serving at the Salvation Army, 17625 Grovewood Ave. Cleveland. Serving lunch from noon to 1 p.m. both Saturdays. Serving dinner from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Sunday: Pearl Road United Methodist Church, 4200 Pearl Road, Cleveland. Serving lunch from noon to 1 p.m. 216-661-5642.

Sunday: Trinity Cathedral Hot Meal, 2230 Euclid Ave., Cleveland. Serving lunch from noon to 1 p.m.
