Milford man breaks into home to sleep

December 24, 2018

MILFORD-Police arrested a city man for allegedly breaking into a Rogers Avenue home because he needed a place to sleep.

Ryan Sileo, 28, of Swanson Crescent, is charged with first-degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief and third-degree criminal mischief for throwing a brick through a glass door and entering the home. Police were called to the home at 2:15 a.m. Dec. 23.

Sileo explained his actions by claiming he had nowhere to sleep that night, police said.

Bond was set at $500 pending a Jan. 15, 2019 appearance in Milford Superior Court.
