WVC LACROSSE ROUNDUP: Leo Nets Another Game-winner

When Wyoming Seminary hosted Dallas a few weeks ago, in a tie game, Tre Leo scored the game-winner in the fourth quarter.

On Wednesday, it took a little longer but Leo did it again.

In double overtime, Leo brought an end to the extended evening, scoring another game-winning goal in Sem’s 7-6 win.

Ryan Anderson had three goals for the Blue Knights (11-6, 9-3 WVC), crossing 200 career points.

Brandon Kelley scored four goals but his Crusaders fell just short at home against the Comets.

Aiden Redding added a pair of goals for Coughlin, Ian Gartley had three assists and Xayvion Proctor made nine saves.

Noah Johnson’s three goals led the Comets.

Josh Balcarcel set a school record with his 102nd assist in the home win.

Balcarcel had six goals and three assists on the day. Shane Roche chipped in four goals and Henry Hamill made 10 saves in net.

Lake-Lehman broke a two-game losing streak with a decisive 18-5 win at Abington Heights on Wednesday.

Jess Evans scored five goals to lead the Black Knights, while Kate Roberts had a nine-point game with three goals and six assists.

Rachel Shook scored four goals and Samantha Aben had a hat trick to go with three assists.
