Scott Karow, 49, Fall River

Scott A. Karow, 49, Fall River, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at UW Hospital in Madison on Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2018.

Scott was born June 27, 1969, in Beaver Dam, the son of Ralph and Joan (Geiger) Karow. Since graduating from Fall River High School, Scott proudly volunteered as a Fall River firefighter. He was united in marriage to Christine Fude on Aug. 23, 1996, at the fire department. He worked at E.K. Machine and IDO Feed & Supply, both in Fall River and also helped do field work for area farmers in the spring and fall. He loved his daughters dearly, and his dedication to the Fall River Fire Department will always be remembered.

Scott is survived by his daughters, Kimberly (Joey) Eimiller of Fond du Lac, and Megan Karow of Beaver Dam; his sisters, Sheila (Patrick) Harmes of Beaver Dam, and Pauline (Daniel) Burke of Beaver Dam; his former wife, Christine Karow of Beaver Dam; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A casual gathering to celebrate Scott’s life will be held Thursday, Sept. 20, from 5-8 p.m. at the Fall River Fire Department, 450 South St., Fall River.
