TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ Fifth-seeded Oklahoma City University overpowered fourth-seeded Drury, Mo., late in the second half Friday on the way to a 90-70 victory in the quarterfinals of the NAIA Division I men's tournament.

Leading 56-53 with 9:15 to play, the Chiefs (26-7) pulled away behind the inside scoring of Brian Hopgood, the 3-point shooting of Kevin Franklin and the acrobatic dunks of Brian DeBose.

Drury (27-4) cut deeply into a 40-28 halftime deficit but could not catch the Chiefs. Drury had overcome double-figure deficits in its first two victories.

DeBose led OCU with 21 points, followed by Hopgood with 15, Pete McKelvey with 13 and Ivan Patterson with 12.

Philip Mooberry scored 21 points and Lonnie Holmes notched 20 for Drury.

OCU will play the winner of a late game between Belmont, Tenn., and Oklahoma Baptist in semifinals at 10:20 p.m. Saturday.

Life College, Ga., and Midwestern State, Texas, meet in the other semifinal, with the championship game at 8:30 p.m. Monday.
