DUBUQUE, Iowa _ Iowa students in the Four Mounds Housing Education and Rehabilitation Training program are working to rehab houses. Students are working on the 35th house to be renovated through the initiative, which teaches community youths about contracting skills through on-site training. By Benjamin Fisher, Telegraph Herald. ALBION, Iowa _ Work has begun to demolish an Iowa school. Since Dec. 3, a demolition crew has been working to raze the defunct Albion Public School building, which for years had been used as a community center and is owned by the city of Albion. The city purchased the building in the early 1980s from the Marshalltown School District at a cost of $1. The demolition will cost $177,000, assisted by a grant totaling $60,000.
