Driver hit, killed while refueling on interstate shoulder
WINDSOR, Conn. (AP) — A driver has died after being hit by a passing car while refueling his vehicle on the shoulder of an interstate off-ramp in Connecticut.
State police say 36-year-old Timothy Sanderson was hit early Saturday while putting gas in his vehicle, which was parked in the right shoulder of an Interstate 91 off-ramp in Windsor. He died at the scene.
