University Of Scranton To Reopen Wednesday After Water Main Break
SCRANTON — After a water main break that shut down campus today, a University of Scranton official said classes are expected to proceed as scheduled Wednesday.
Repairs to a 10-inch water main on Monroe Avenue and Linden Street should be finished by this evening, Pennsylvania American Water spokeswoman Susan Turcmanovich said.
Portable lavatories and drinking water stations on campus will remain available until water service is restored, according to university spokesman Stan Zygmunt.
