Police release photo of shooter at local business

The Fort Wayne Police Department released a photo Wednesday of a man riding a bicycle who is accused in a shooting at SMS Property Management.

A man was shot inside the business in the 1100 block of St. Joseph Boulevard about 5:30 p.m. Friday and taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to police. 

The shooter pulled a gun on the man and there was an exchange of gunfire before the shooter fled on a bicycle, police said.

Man hospitalized in Sherman shooting   

Fort Wayne police found a man suffering from a gunshot wound early Wednesday after responding to a call at 2501 Sherman Blvd.

At 6:44 a.m., police arrived at the home and the victim was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries although he did require surgery, according to news release from police .

A man suspected of being the shooter fled on foot in an unknown direction.

Police: Man shot on Plaza Drive

A man was shot outside 5514 Plaza Drive just after 6 p.m. Wednesday, Fort Wayne police said at the scene.

“The guy showed up at the hospital,” FWPD Deputy Chief Paul Shrawder said.

His injuries were non-life-threatening, police said.

The shooting is under investigation.
