Mandan man accused of holding woman against her will
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A 28-year-old man is accused of holding a woman against her will in a Mandan home for four days.
The Bismarck Tribune reports Charles Kenneth Hale Jr. is charged with felonious restraint and terrorizing and other charges after police were called to the home Wednesday night.
Court records say Hale prevented the woman from leaving the residence by holding her down, causing visible bruises. The woman told police Hale threatened to burn the house down with her inside and said, if she left, he would have people track her down.
Hale did not have an attorney listed in court records. He was being held in a Bismarck jail.
