Orchids and Onions: Monday, February 4, 2019

February 5, 2019

Another beautiful day in Havasu...

Onions to our local emergency room for not seeing patients in a timely manner. That’s why we are there, because it’s an emergency. Six to eight hours later is ridiculous!

Orchids to Tim and staff at Discount Floors for the job they did taking out our carpet and replacing it with tile! Did awesome job! We are so happy with all the excellent service, and we would highly recommend to anyone! Happy Snowbird!

Onions to whoever is responsible for the upkeep of the high school. Beautiful, expensive and seldom used football field and track, very poor upkeep on baseball field, weeds and untrimmed palm trees all over the property. Our taxes are paying for what? Terrible scene when driving by property.

Orchids to Officer Castillo, LHPD, Bullerproof Security and the Lake Havasu Yacht club. All three were instrumental in identifying and capturing the mail-stealing ladies on Countryshire Ave. We are thankful for their quick action and assistance with security footage. A great big Thank you to all.

Onions to our postal service. City officials need to look into what is going on with our post office. Wrong mail delivered, inconsistent delivery, landscaping around building is terrible, weeds and plants dying. Ask the postmaster what is wrong!

Orchids to Theresa at Dunkin Doughnuts, who recognized I had crutches and offered to carry the dozen doughnuts to the truck. She is so nice, and I thank you.

Onions to the Thursday boulevard cruisers as they create their own parking spaces off corners, along red curbs, even doubling up in handicap spaces at the rear of eateries. The LHCPD drive by and do not stop to reward violators with a citation! Is this a special service for snowbirds!?

Orchids to Jordan at Sound Bank Electronics. I had an issue with my TV and he instructed me on how to fix it. Thank you for your patience and showing me not only how to solve the issue, but how I can fix it the next time I get stuck. You are truly an asset to your company.

Onions to our post office! Register complaint by calling 877-275-8777, speak to customer care service or register complaint online at USPS, Washington, D.C. It will get handled and this post office straightened out!
