March 19, 2019

Spokane Valley Major Crimes Detectives are asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect in a stabbing Monday night at a Spokane Valley apartment complex.

Deputies were called to MultiCare Valley Hospital at about 6:30 p.m., where staff reported a man arrived at the emergency room with “severe and what appeared to be potentially life-threatening” stab wounds,” wrote Cpl. Mark Gregory, spokesman for the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office, in a news release. He is expected to recover.

Gregory said the incident occurred at an apartment at 11009 E. Third Avenue sometime before 6:30 p.m.

Detectives interviewed the man and “gained as much information as possible.” However, detectives reportedly received “conflicting and inconsistent information” during interviews with other witnesses, Gregorysaid.

Anyone with information is asked to call Major Crimes Detective Kirk Keyser at (509) 477-6611 and reference report number 10035905.
