Protective Insurance: 3Q Earnings Snapshot
CARMEL, Ind. (AP) _ Protective Insurance Corporation-B (PTVCB) on Wednesday reported a third-quarter loss of $12.3 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
The Carmel, Indiana-based company said it had a loss of 82 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for investment gains, were 95 cents per share.
The property and casualty insurance underwriter posted revenue of $105.8 million in the period.
Protective Insurance shares have decreased slightly more than 2 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has increased nearly 2 percent in the last 12 months.
