PARSIPPANY, N.J. (AP) — Authorities say a New Jersey woman fatally stabbed her mother while her infant daughter was also present.

Lila Lucariello is facing murder, child endangerment and weapons charges.

Morris County prosecutors say the 33-year-old Parsippany woman stabbed 58-year-old Salwa Kahn-Tamr, of Prospect Park, multiple times inside Lucariello's apartment. Lucariello's husband found the victim when he returned home Saturday morning and called 911.

An autopsy determined that Kahn-Tamr died from multiple stab wounds. Her death was ruled a homicide.

It's not yet known what spurred the attack, which apparently happened sometime late Friday or early Saturday. Authorities say the child wasn't injured.

It wasn't known Wednesday if Lucariello has retained an attorney.
