Reno man gets 12 life prison terms for teen sex assault
RENO, Nev. (AP) — A Reno man convicted of 17 counts of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl over a 5-year period has been sentenced to 12 consecutive life prison terms.
Washoe County prosecutors say 56-year-old Jeffery Lynn Fluckiger would theoretically have to serve a minimum of 271 years in prison before he could be considered for parole.
He was sentenced in Reno on Friday after he was convicted earlier of sexual assault and lewdness with a child under 14 as well as the production and possession of child pornography.
He was arrested in 2017.
