Broncos Sign Marvin Washington

DENVER (AP) _ The Denver Broncos signed veteran free-agent defensive end Marvin Washington on Monday.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Washington, a 9-year veteran, played last season with San Francisco. He played his first eight years with the New York Jets who picked him in the sixth round of the 1989 draft.

Washington, 32, has played 130 career games with 451 tackles, 38 sacks, eight forced fumbles, a fumble recovery and three interceptions.
