McClendon competed in the women’s weight throw, where she won the bronze medal at the SEC Indoor Championships on Feb. 23. McClendon placed seventh on Saturday with a throw of 72 feet, 0.25 inches.
Santos competed in the women’s triple jump, where she holds a school record 43-foot-4.25-inch jump. The freshman from Mato Grosso, Brazil, placed 11th with a mark of 42 feet, 3.25 inches.
