Hunters Creek

6/30/18 at 0300 Hours. 800 Block of Kuhlman. Criminal Trespass. Victim reported that he was awaken at 0300 hours by someone who was on his second story balcony. The homeowner challenged the subject who was described as a male subject, about 5-foot-tall, wearing glasses. The male said he had been a contractor working at the home and had been fired by the company. He had lost some keys at the job site and was looking for them. The subject then left the area. (Note: the home has scaffolding in place due to construction). The home owner felt uncomfortable about the interaction and later notified the MVPD. Officers checked the area for surveillance cameras and located several homes with security systems. Detectives are following up due to the suspicious nature of the call.

7/2/18 at 0030 Hours. 200 Block of Voss. Driving While under the Influence (DWI). Officer observed a vehicle speeding on Voss and initiated a traffic stop. Upon approaching the driver of the vehicle, the officer could detect the odor of alcohol on the subject. The driver was asked to exit the vehicle and perform a series of sobriety tests. The subject failed the tests and was placed under arrest. A subsequent breath alcohol test showed the subject to be over the legal limit and DWI. The 26-year-old male was booked into the Harris County Jail.

Piney Point

7/5/18 at 1545 Hours. 11200 Block of Wilding. Credit Card Abuse/Fraud. Victim reported that he located unauthorized charges on his credit card for the purchase of airline tickets from California to South Korea and China. A total of 3 tickets were purchased, with one eventually being cancelled by the bank. The purchases were all made on-line. Information was obtained and provided to detectives for follow up and the bank credited the victims account.

Bunker Hill

7/2/18 at 1215 Hours. 300 Block of Rainer. Attempted Fraud. Victim reported that she received notification from her credit company of her card being used in Spring, Texas to purchase over $6000 worth of tools. Knowing the charge to be false she provided immediate notification and the transaction was cancelled. Information about the transaction was obtained and forwarded to detectives for their follow-up investigation.
